@macmanx I don’t know usage information. The work I helped with 7 years ago was to remove it from Core because energy needed to be focused on Gutenberg. It could be worth it, especially if switching it to Gutenberg. It might need to be a separate editor, just a method to take from a bookmarklet and a block that grabs a remote URL, parsing it. (1/2)

I think it could be a very interesting quick post vector for social posts/activitypub, but needs a champion who feels passionate about spending time on it. (2/2)
