In this case, though, I think that this is debug functionality that was left in by accident, rather than an intentional back door, as the vendor is now saying, because it wasn't obfuscated and it looks like testing code. Still, a security issue.

@not2b It's not a deliberate back-door most likely. But being an accidental back-door doesn't make it any less dangerous.
