Falls of Dochart

Mid-June, and the river banks are lush and green. This old tree, still alive and thriving, made a perfect frame for my shot of the top rapids.

The river’s source is the 1130 metres of the Munroe Ben Lui, the water flows 21 km east from Loch Dochart and into Loch Tay.

Killin in Perthshire, #Scotland.

On the right are a few pretty cottages with a cloudy blue sky above.
