I was discussing with a few friends at the end of 2025 the idea of pulling out our cameras and shooting some nighttime photos of Berlin. Especially around Alexanderplatz and the Christmas Market there.

The Christmas Market in front of Humboldt Forum ended up being one of the most interesting places for pictures. It wasn't as packed as the others, and I was able to use my medium-format camera—something I hadn't anticipated.

Still, this is one of the massive spinning machines whose name I don't know. Maybe this can be called a carousel? Not sure. Long exposure was needed because the film was expired, but this machine moved too much, so it has lost its original shape.
