What bad habits does your MC have?

Kira Knox: She drinks unrefined Food printer liquid (the E.P.I. EQuil), for which she hacks the system, it's a serious problem to a degree that she has to eat solid food so her body "does not forget" how to process it.
She has a strange sense of humor that comes across as smug at times. Her way of showing affection can be considered as invasive and a show of control. She regrets the losses and even gives herself the blame for most of them. She also trains harder than most would say necessary.

Arkham is very success oriented and pushes herself to be above the perceived "average" of others. She isn't easily forgiving and tends to hold grudges far longer than most.

Ashlei was not programmed to have bad habits, from a terran point of view, at times her focus on the facts is seem as cold and calculating.

Does your world have any weird laws, practices or beliefs?

Union specific: accumulation of wealth is frowned upon, material wealth is considered okay in a frame but income & static finances are kept relative low. Their are no interest rates. Tax evasion/not spending everything above your income threshold is considered betrayal upon the society & will be prosecuted.
Companies are allowed to have more money than persons but will be split, closed or worse if they miss use the trust that is bestowed upon them.
Generally speaking you have 3 changes for fair trial, if you don't use them to show betterment, you will be forced to repay society for the damage you caused & been repelled from it afterwards.
It starts as soon as minor delicts are done, in severe cases you only have 1 trial & 1 last chance to do better. This is enforced without emotion to make sure that even empathy less citizens behave according to laws.

Tell us about a romantic relationship a character has.

Kira: well that boarders Telenovela territory since she always gathered attention of people, not all wanted.
She is polyamorous but wasn't in bigger relationships (3+ partners) since her twenties. She kept however some of her teen partners as very close friends and the love never completely faded it just transformed. She had interspecies relationships. An interesting note in other species she is mostly attracted to male behavior/identity while with Terrans or Humans (from the Rim territory) she is more attracted to female behavior/identity. Things get complex as she is merged with Ashlei the ships AI and her Flight Commander (Arkham) opens up about her interest in her

Anika non biological sister: despite having lived through mostly the same upbringing Anika was way more settled. She & Kira had the same partners at different times and she made space for ➡️

⬅️ Kira. Anika left as Rose and Talisa (at that time her partners) developed romantic interest in Kira and Kira for them. As Kira went all in with Tanya (well all in for teenagers in the 2300.) they stayed as close friends on occasion cuddling or sharing a quite moment.

Arkham: never was into anything romantic until the loss of her Captain and realizing she cared way more for Kira's well-being as that of the others. She had tried in her late teens but never connected with anyone in that regard so her interest in Kira is uncharted territory for her.

Rose & Talisa Draken: married they are together since.... Basically forever. They met as children, lived close to each other and married after they got old enough. Both where in a relationship with Anika as teens but later got together with Kira and stayed with her even after her Fallout with Tanya. Now they are still close friends.➡️

⬅️ They even managed to get posted together on most of their assignments and pretty much the Adams family (without children).
They still live Anika and Kira but it's not in a romantic way anymore. They are together for such a long time that most people don't remember Talisa's birth name (it doesn't helped that she used to introduce herself as Rose's future wife since the started dating)

J. Aromantic, asexual, loves naked cuddling and closeness, if you look for a gentle giant to lean on she got you covered. But don't expect anything in a way of a relationship or anything beyond naked cuddling.
She can flirt like a devil but she always makes clear that she wants people to feel appreciated and liked, nothing more. She has no preferences in gender identity or species. She even has a cuddle club but we don't talk about that (1. rule of the cuddle club).

Who is your most chaotic character?

I don't think that fits the WIP that good. J. is a attention gathering person on the battlefield but that's simply her job.

My most chaotic character is either "Natto" Hinata Emeria Hinori or her twin sister Shera Emeria Hinori, Queen of Kings, choosen of She.
Both are Tieflings from past and current DND champaigns.

Natto was raised by her Druid circle and sadly has a very simple definition of good and evil. You killed an animal? For what reason? Did you make sure that it doesn't have kids? Did you use all of it? No? Did you thank the animal? No?
May you be purged by flame so your Ash can give back mother nature what you took from her. As a druid of wildfire it's a simple task for her. Together with the burning ghost of both third lost sibling (they where triplets but only two survived) she racks havoc and twists words like she wants to justify why she had to burn down something.

Shera is similar to Natto but was handed over to a religious group to secure peace. Their pronouns are switching on the fly between they/them and he/him depending on which function someone refers to private they/them. As the now in fact leader of this religious group they are referenced to as him because the language in their country makes a distinction between male and female articles for everyone and everything.
In private it's they and to confuse even more people their call name in private is simply She. Which is also th Name of the flaming bear entity that chose them and brought them into the arms of this religious order.
The term Queen is given to the highest religious leader of this group while the ranks below are Kings. Which doesn't mean that they have lands or money it's just their religious titles.
She and Natto have two different dominant Tiefling blood lines and She was also bitten by a Where bear.
Pure chaos.

Are bodily functions omitted or discussed in your stories?

Which ones?
Some more than others. Because I'm biased as all of us.
And you wouldn't believe how many people have invested way to much time in describing a few not so intrest catching bodily activities instead of describing the real pressuring ones.
What I mean by that? Look into literature and count all the instances breath, thinking, heartbeat, etc is mentioned things we all do permanently without even thinking about it (you just started thinking about thinking because someone poked that area of your brain).
But how few really important thoughts and absolutely focusing body functions are reduced to a) fetish b) comic relief or c) insults d) horror supporting elements.

Not a single great novel has been written about a person's journey to find a toilet.
Yet if you ever had that struggle you know how pressing the matter is.
And I bet everyone has at least one Horror story about it.
