We live in unbearable conditions... a tattered tent on muddy ground that offers no protection from the winter cold or the summer heat.

My children are young, shivering from the cold, and I have nothing to give them. My son Ali always asks for milk and biscuits. Sometimes I buy him milk, and sometimes I can't afford it. A pack costs $30. He just holds the cup, looking sad.
