Next video in the series of 3 (which I think is going to be 4 in the end...) from Dec 24-25(26 is the extra, snow was pretty).
It was a little whiter each day, with light snowfalls + rime frost (frozen fog). This is the morning of Dec 25, on the acreage with some sun and blue skies to set off the white trees. YouTube link, Spectra to follow

Looking up at the tops of a couple of poplar trees. there are a number of thin upper trunks/branches reaching skyward, plae grey-green frost lightened, then many many fine short twigs in all directions, but tending to point upward. The twigs are all coated in frost crystals, and maybe a bit of fine snow, so they appear mostly white with just a bit of darker undersides showing to highlight the structure. The white branches are set off againts a clear blue sky.

Frost Wrapped Christmas Trees- Christmas Morning


Still cold! Around -22C/-8F the morning of December 25 (okay, it was closer to noon..). Freezing fog left lovely rime frost on the trees, along with probably another bit of fresh snow.
Next vid we'll see it near sunset with the golden glow coming through..

@MigsGarden thanks :) I think I got some nice footage in the wide frame versions of these, but that is a much bigger editing job...lol I might try to get a long December video up soon!
