Last week's snow didn't last long- patches in shady places a day or two; since then we've been above to well above average temperatures, which continues for the next few days at least (0C is avg daytime, we've been above 10 several times, heading for 4 today 11 tomorrow then 2-5 before a -4C day next week, maybe more snow/rain; Environment Canada has minus temps starting Monday 17, Weather Channel starts Mon 24) Photos:#sunset Nov 07 day of the #snow #Winter #CrossQuarterDay #Alberta #Canada

Very evocative, all three.
Thanks for posting!

Snow was right on time for the #CrossQuarterDay between Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice- marking the #TimeOfIce -beginning of the #winter season in the traditional #Latvian calendar. The days since have been mild, but shadows long, shade and breezes chilly, temperature dropping rapidly as soon as the sun is below the trees or behind clouds so the winter season is definitely at hand, even if it is yet to get deeply cold (we've had nights probably had -10/-12C 14-10F)

@dillyd thanks! I had several of those drops, had to choose, went for this one for close-ness and the almost anthropomorphic blurred light in the background :)
