@dillyd Thanks :) this- and similar- is my virew from most places on the acreage (well, the 'open' parts..lol) if I want a lower horizon I have to go to the road or look across the neighbours'..lol

@dillyd No, I won't complain about them either- they bring a lot of beauty on their own, as well as a lot of birds. And while there are times (especially in winter when shadows are long) that I'd like more sun, I only need to step out on the road on a cold day with even a slight wind to appreciate my sheltered yard!

@Chris people do different things, of course, but for me I want to write something that will give the person who is depending solely on the alt text an experience, so they can feel something like you might feel when you see a photo. Just to say 'a picture of trees with frost and blue sky' might be accurate, but I don't see much value (it might be useful when the picture is just to illustrate maybe a political story or a joke, or something, where the photo is only secondary anyway) #AltText

@fionag11 It would be interesting to talk to a number of people- those interacting with only visual, only text or both and see what the experiences were like (not saying it's realistic for that to ever happen, just it would be interesting..lol)
