Thought that sounded familiar... just now reading the book referenced in the article, "Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism" by Sarah Wynn-Williams. It covers the gradual transition of FB from greedy but clueless company to a greedy, malevolent, and world-changing force. Worth a read for anyone still using platform; it's pretty chilling.

I'm sorry. what does it say about me, that the first thing that comes to my mind is, SEE?? See, Dad? Mark wasn't so bad. (I tried to date Mark in 1985, he was very kind and cool, he played soccer.)

Edit: Mark J. A totally different Mark than Zuck. Jesus. fuck. Was everyone named Mark back then or what?
