Chinese startup Energy Singularity made a breakthrough in nuclear fusion with its Honghuang 70 (HH70) tokamak device, using high-temperature superconductors to speed up development.
The company plans to build HH170 by 2027, aiming for a Q value greater than 10. This achievement highlights the growing interest in small reactor designs for both nuclear fusion and fission.
