Does it really make any sense to post/boost messages that should motivate people to leave #X here on #Mastodon?
I mean, they're all here (as well) and the target group number one is not here (yet). 🤷
I'm thinking of filtering all words related to Twitter/X because most posts seem to motivate a switch which is not relevant to me anymore.

in reply to Karl Voit • • •could be relevant, most people how leaved did not actively deleted their accounts yet, this way they keep on making the userbase looking bigger what they are, keeping the network effect. and giving credit to these place that they are officially managing who we are online.
but yeah, the blocking function is useful to keep your feeds and limit things you do not like to see. May the Mary Kondo method be with you

My approach is to leave X/Twitter behind and ignore all the stuff that's going on over there because it isn't relevant to me anymore and therefore it shouldn't occupy my time.
Both are valid approaches IMHO.
