#SolarUpdate time, a mini update mid Sept.
Image 1, shows the amount of imported energy from Mar-Sept 2023, and image 2, shows the amount of energy imported from Mar-Sept (17th Sept) in 2024.
To say that the expanded battery has transformed the system is an understatement.
In 2023, the most we used through the battery was 134kwh in Aug 2023... In March 2024, the lowest amount we've used was 139kwh. In Aug, we used 198kwh, an increase of over 50%

We get a saving in 7 months (since the extra battery was installed)... of.... 🥁 ..... 482kwh compared to last year.
That's 482kwh we've not had to import.. based on the avg price per kwh over the last 2yrs of about 29p/kwh
That's a rough saving of £140.
That's not TOTAL savings, that's the EXTRA savings so far this year.
We have £900 credit on the account too built up since Jan 2023
