Even though August wasn't a good month in terms of the weather. The solar generation was reasonable at 470kwh

We used 410kwh of that directly to the house or battery, and exported 60kwh. We imported about 45kwh from the grid.

The bill for the month after credit for the export, for gas, electric and all standing charges plus VAT was £34.10

In the last 6 months, we have imported 403kwh of electric at a cost of around £330, but have used 2490kwh.

When you factor in the cost of the electric we've not imported, plus the income generated from exporting energy.

The savings become a very impressive £672 over the last 6 months.

The next 6 months will not be as impressive due to the shorter days we are heading into.
