I’m a #transgender person who came out and sought gender-affirming care in my early 30s, and I hadn’t spoken to anyone about it up until that point in my life. To everyone else, it probably seemed a lot like my onset of gender dysphoria was pretty rapid, but it was something I had struggled with for most of my life without really being able to understand it or even put a name to it.
