CorePDF is not bloated tho. 6 buttons...I have tried Zathura but it had no options and could not open our TROM books. If anyone can share a screenshot of a big PDF like TROM books, and how it looks with Zathura...

I've opened TROM book #38 with zathura just fine. It opens instantly and renders fine (even with the side by side view). Note that it works with the zathura default config but if you want to configure zathura you have to edit the configuration file (zathurarc). Information on how to proceed can be found on the project homepage (https://pwmt.org/projects/zathura/documentation) and Arch wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Zathura).

Yes, Zathura can open TROM books just fine, I've opened multiple ones. But in order to be able to do that you also have to install a package called zathura-pdf-mupdf on arch.

Here is a nice video explaining Zathura - https://videos.lukesmith.xyz/w/qCS5BPxBM8iTQGgLVXqjH3
