Howdy folks! 😁

Just got through the timeline again. Boosted some, as there were a few awesome Halloween 🎃 toots out there!
Boosted some of my Masto and Pixelfed things too...
In less than two hours, I'll be in Skoosh, heading to my friends in Almere. Hope the drive will go well.
I'll need to sleep on a couch for two nights, so I'm very sure my back will be glad to be back in bed on Monday. 😉
And Skoosh should have her all-season shoes then. Yay for that too...

It will be a little emotional during my visit at some point, as I will bring the Arwen memorial heart to my friends.

A shimmering crystal glass heart, both delicate and strong, immortalizes the memory of Arwen, the chocolate Labrador who was more than a pet—she was a soulmate, the kindest and most loving companion one could ever wish for. The heart contains a laser-engraved image of Arwen, her soft eyes and warm expression glowing within the glass as if still watching over those who loved her. Beside her image lies a silver lid stamped with a simple black pawprint, sealing a hidden chamber that holds some of her ashes, visible when the heart rests on its side. This sacred memorial was created as a gift for two dear friends, to honor the bond they too shared with Arwen—especially one of them, who adored her just as deeply as she adored him. The engraving was made from a picture taken on June 6th, just weeks before Arwen’s passing on July 4th, 2025, days short of her 12th birthday. She may be gone, but through this crystal heart, her love shines on eternally, a reminder that she will never be forgotten, and will forever be missed.

The crystal glass heart memorial lies on its back, revealing its thickness and clear structure. Within the heart, the softly glowing engraving of Arwen, the chocolate Labrador, can still be seen, her gentle features immortalized in glass. At the left side of the heart, a circular chamber sealed with a silver lid marked by a black pawprint holds some of her ashes, which are visible through the transparent crystal in this angle. The ashes make the keepsake deeply personal and tangible, carrying a part of Arwen herself. She passed away on July 4th, 2025, just 11 days shy of her 12th birthday, leaving behind the legacy of being the most kind, caring, and loving companion—a true soulmate. This heart was gifted to two dear friends as a symbol of shared love and remembrance. Even in absence, Arwen’s spirit shines through this memorial, reminding all who loved her that she will never be forgotten.

Well, I best pack my bag a bit and then get some food, so that I'll be all good and ready to go when the time comes.
