DoT/Govt of #India has reportedly mandated OEMs to install the #SancharSaathi cybersec app on every #smartphone without any provision for users to disable it. Let me say this straight: What right do you have to dictate what runs on our private devices that you didn't pay for, and intrude so shamelessly into the private affairs of the citizens? You are just our reps, not our overlords. Such draconian mandates that serve your authoritarian aspirations are utterly contemptible!

And as for your true intentions, your use of the NSO #Pegasus malware to frame the activists in the Bhima Koregaon case is infamous around the world. With such a dubious track record, credible experts justifiably consider you as a serious security threat. You have practically ZERO credibility or trustworthiness in the cyberspace. If you want our devices free of malware, just keep your filthy hands off them. Just stop with this tiresome pretense of a self-righteous guardian.

Utter incompetence... if they really cared about stopping scams, they should push smartphone manufacturers not to ship phones installed with bloatware or adware, because that’s often exactly how people end up getting malware or scammed

Completely agreed - especially with your reasoning at the end. I just didn't want to create an exhaustive list of everything wrong with this nonsense.
