We are currently fighting against a DDoS attack against our service and our status page. We are analyzing network traffic with the help of our ISP at the moment and let you know once we have updates to share.

in reply to Codeberg • • •hey there, for what it’s worth, OVHcloud has a 👌🏻 DDoS protection. Maybe you can talk to folks at Sourcehut, I believe they took advantage of it while keeping their infra separate by basically renting a server and using it as a public proxy.

in reply to Codeberg • • •it is so sad to see that all the open-source forges are struggling against bad actors with much larger resources and greedy companies with no respect for the services they crawl... sourcehut and codeberg are the future of open source communities in my opinion! we need to find some real solutions to these problems, as the people doing the attack have microsoft level of funding and no care for the users.
