As I watch and listen to the tepid and parsimonious words of the spineless Prime Minister of the UK I am ashamed of his inability, as a former human rights lawyer, to be forthright in his condemnation of the US illegal actions in Venezuela. Is he afraid to speak out for fear of upsetting the bully who is squatting in what is left of the White House, scared that retribution would be swift? That he too might be kidnapped? Give in to a bully, and they'll be back for more.

This is the same man who had Jewish people expelled from the so-called #LabourParty for "#antisemitism", who pronounced that Israel had the right to withhold water, food, & energy from besieged populations, and who persecutes anti-genocide activists as "#terrorists".

This is NOT a weak or spineless man. #Starmer is a strong man who uses his strength to oppose justice and #humanrights, a lawyer whose work in the field of human rights has led him to oppose human rights.

@2legged I've posted this quite a few times now, and will probably do so again (though I hope it won't be relevant for too much longer): Jay Baker's (@MediaActivist) article on Starmer's tendency towards authoritarianism is spectacularly good.
