US demands access to tourists' social media histories

Does this imply it would be better to pool extra resources for a super node versus those same people beefing up their individual nodes the same amount? At least to some level of dimmishing returns of course
in reply to fruitycoder

Fat nodes on fast low-latency pipes ran on dual-stacked servers 24/7 reduce ephemeral node churn and aid in node and content discovery.
Mobile devices on P2P behind CGNAT and other brain damage are more a problem, than a solution.

#HuwaidaArraf is a human rights attorney and organizer with the Freedom Flotilla Coalition.

In late November, the United Nations Security Council endorsed the “Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict” which includes President Trump’s 20-point framework.

Washington and Jerusalem celebrated it as a breakthrough. In reality, it represents one of the most dangerous recent efforts to make international law irrelevant, installing a neo-colonial trusteeship run by those who have armed, funded and politically shielded Israel for decades.

Despite media hype, the October “ceasefire” was never a true ceasefire at all. Israel has since bombed homes and schools, killing more than 300 Palestinians, injuring hundreds more and demolishing civilian infrastructure. It is still blocking desperately needed humanitarian aid.

No wonder the CEO/President/Whatever that guy does is going all in on legalizing war crimes.

Apparently he has committed some.

in reply to TheReturnOfPEB

Most people who go all in on legalizing or not make it a bad thing like Ted Cruz and pedophiles are usually guilty of the same thing they perpetuate.

What show is this?

[edit: it looks like Summer Camp Island? I don't remember it that well if that's the case]

[edit edit: after a bit of hunting, I think it's from the final episode of season 1 of Summer camp island; The Library]

Israeli minister says war ‘inevitable’ after Syrian troops chant for Gaza

Fuck this guy. BC will never accept this willingly...and will never forgive this, if they're forced to accept it. Carney is effectively cancelling any future support for the Liberals in BC, with this move.

in reply to Sunshine (she/her)

Now that's just a stupid take.

The banks are responsible for housing being an investment, they're just exploiting the system the government set up.

The government could change it with policy any time they wanted.

I mean if this Judge is writing from within his role on a Canadian court, it would make sense that he bases his opinion off British and French legal tradition.

"Propaganda" right, just as your liberal programming wants you to do, discredit any nonwestern nonempire approved sources as "propaganda"

It's literally state propaganda. Which is fine, you can share that all you like. But presenting it as journalism is not okay, no matter what your ideology.

Israeli minister says war ‘inevitable’ after Syrian troops chant for Gaza

An Israeli government minister has hinted at a potential war with Syria, in response to footage of Syrian troops chanting slogans in support of Palestinians in Gaza. :-)

A military parade took place on Monday in Damascus, among many other events, to mark the first anniversary of the fall of longtime ruler Bashar al-Assad.

At one point during the parade, troops chanted: “Gaza, Gaza, Gaza, our slogan, night and day, bombing and ruin.

“We are coming for you, our enemy, coming, coming for you, even if you were a mountain of fire, I will make from my blood ammunition, and from your blood rivers.”
