@wortwart @woe2you Doubling down on your comment doesn't work nearly as well as "Oh wow. I hadn't thought of it that way." Lots of people are on their own and love it. Also, a little compassion is what people usually express when someone says that they've had deaths in their family. It's wild to me to offer criticism to someone who is grieving. Do better, wortwart.
