makes sense! I figured there was some moderation dumbness going on.
Universeodon's newer owner unfortunately added a well known, very infamous blocklist whenever they took over.
If you remember, I blocked Universeodon for a time for this exact reason.
Dobbs.town was probably on that blocklist.🤦♂️
52 days to go and Republicans are focused on proving that Haitian immigrants are eating pets.
Seriously - that’s their focus with less than two months to go.
Did a video on how completely absurd this is. youtu.be/u1-ZL1EZQPA?si=3MLL2y…

Been reading a lot of articles about how AI is killing the job market for junior devs. They say most companies will have a handful of senior devs managing it and no one else
I want to work in tech, but there's practically nothing for junior devs out there and those get snapped up by young new grad geniuses with whom I can't compete.
With those senior devs, I wonder who will run things when they move on.
If you have a job for a NEW GRAD. I'd like to see it. Please don't make me regret my masters degree forever. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

Academics say flying to meetings harms the climate — but they carry on
A survey at one of the biggest UK research universities finds that staff often end up flying to meetings despite a preference to avoid air travel

These hawks say they’re endorsing Harris largely to stop Donald Trump — citing his conduct and “chaotic leadership” — but these prominent conservatives are backing the Democratic nominee because their visions for U.S. foreign policy increasingly appear to be aligned. The Democratic and Republican parties are more unified than ever in their commitment to preserving American hegemony and preventing the multipolar world from emerging.

The Golden Age of democracy might be right in front of us, if the people uniting to save the republic are willing to accept some good faith.

At about the same time that several of Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters were warning that #Laura #Loomer’s access to the former President
💥threatens his presidential bid,
#Tim #Walz was in Grand Rapids ❇️ mocking how easy it is to manipulate Donald Trump
Jewish space laser conspiracist Marjorie Taylor #Greene scolded Loomer about➡️ attacking Kamala Harris for her Indian ancestry
(after which MTG went back to making racist attacks on migrants again).
Lindsey #Graham, a sometime hawk who makes excuses for Trump’s apologies for Russia,
agreed that ➡️Trump should distance himself from Loomer and the incendiary comments she makes

in reply to Chuck Darwin • • •It certainly deserves most thorough investigation of how much & what abortion-rights-killer Trump was paid by whom to nominate & appoint (on advice from Leonard Leo) three more, majority completing subservient, Catholic Opus-Dei-approved judges to the Supreme Court.
Trump is not an ideologist, he's a ME-deologist always seeking his own personal profit: "What's in it for me?"
And a number of anti-abortionist billionaires are having an awful lot of dollars at hand to "help" a scarcely solvent fake billionaire find their right decision.
Just think of fundamentalist Catholic crusader Leonard Leo, who received a $1.6 billion donation from a shadowy oligarch (, where questions about possible money laundering could also be raised).

in reply to Chuck Darwin • • •Whether people like him or not, I see this as an objective and indisputable win. Roe v. Wade, like abortion as a whole, was evil. Even if you ignore the morality argument, Roe v. Wade encroached on the states' rights of sovereignty.
Imagine if we decided to use the federal government to BAN abortion nationwide; pro-aborts would be livid and complain about the overreach of the federal government as well.
As the constitution says, any authority/responsibility that is not explicitly granted the federal government by the constitution is supposed to rest in the hands of the states. Sadly, since the early 20th century, Americans seem to have forgotten about this and allowed the federal government to claim powers it never should have had.
