Most petitions don't have much impact, but if this European Citizens Initiative on banning conversion therapy reaches 1 million signatures by Saturday it will mean that it will be discussed at the European Parliament.Last week there were about 450,000 signatures. It is now up to 620,000 and could easily reach the target if it is shared widely.

Je kunt het zelf maken met relatief goedkope materialen, maar de instructies zijn voor nu nog niet erg toegankeijk zonder technische kennis. Daar gaan we verandering in brengen:

Er is veel interesse in de Black-out Box die Marleen Stikker gisteren presenteerde tijdens de Staat van het internet 2025.Het Fablab van Waag heeft de instructies voor het maken van deze box hier gedeeld: fablab.waag.org/Projects/bob/b…
We gaan op zoek naar een manier om deze instructies toegankelijker te maken - evt via workshops, makkelijkere instructies of allebei. Wordt vervolgd!

Je hebt al een computer onder je eigen vingers, daar kan je prima office-toepassingen op draaien. Wel zo energiezuinig. Doe wekelijks een backup, desnoods aan het eind van de dag, en berg die op.
Als er iets fout gaat (hoe vaak gebeurt dat nou?) ben je een paar dagen werk kwijt. Pech, zo belangrijk is je werk niet. En bij overdoen wordt het vaak beter.
