Because of live performance at the Circuits In The Woods festival, I didn't spend much time in the studio that wasn't working on the set or recovering from it. (There were some technical issues that led me to revise my live set-up.) So I didn't upload any tracks to In Medias Res.
Today I've uploaded 2 new tracks and removed 2 others.
One track is an ambient synth track, is what it says on the tin.
The other, "Ambient Guitar Improv with 808", is a thing I stumbled upon while playing through my improved live rig. I wanted to capture it--it seems a good foundation for an addition to the live set, and I want to start building it out. Warning, at about 1:52 in the track there is a jump in volume as the 808 kicks in.

Any day when I visit the ant colony at the AMNH is a good day. It's like going to see an important visiting dignitary from the tropics. You can normally tell which chamber the queen is living in. That's where all the activity is. The colony has been in NYC long enough that she is the only ant who remembers what it was like to live underground or their home country. All of the workers have only know the museum.
It's a very healthy colony.
I always feel like it should have a name.

Does anyone have a line on good, quality Linux and Debian stickers? Like, make of flexible plastic, not cheap paper so they pull off clean when it's time replace them?
I'm seeing loads of them on Etsy, but it's so hard to tell what's actually good until you've already paid for shipping & handling.

in reply to Markus 👨💻 • • •These were all on by default, which resulted in an "assist" button representing AI in the files app. I didn't install the assistant app or anything. This came when I upgraded recently.
I had to turn them all off to get rid of their ai assistant advertisement as per this issue:

That's poor form to have a button advertising it by default, and the only way to stop it is to edit settings in the admin panel, so normal users can't get rid of it either. I dislike that. I don't want slop advertised to me or my users.
