The short story is a spin-off in the Winds & Pillars world, and I really hope it'll bring more readers to the main series, if the anthology takes off.
I desperately want to finish the Winds & Pillars series (two books left to do), because too many readers wait until a series is complete before starting to read it.
(Which is a chicken and egg problem.)

Just for shits and giggles (and because it was really cheap) I bought a MIDI controller to use with #darktable. I thought it might be a cool toy I would get bored of quickly... boy, was I wrong!
Having a dedicated hardware knob for the main sliders instead of tuning them on-screen with the mouse is a game-changer. Exposure, colour temperature, and contrast are _so_ quick to adjust now and I can keep looking at the photo while my hands do the work.
