I get this email today from Thrift Savings Plan (the 401k equivalent for federal employees).
It says I should "click on the red circle icon in the upper right-hand corner of [my] home screen," but there is no red circle icon in the upper right corner when I log in. It's yellow.
The "tsp.gov" link in the footer isn't clickable because they've written '<a href="tsp.gov">' instead of '<a href="https ://tsp.gov">' in the HTML source for the email.
Sheer incompetence.

Ok! Main lower body of the Viking sweater is now completed. I have begun one of the cabled sleeves already. These will be joined into the main body when it reaches the appropriate length and then worked in the round for the dolman sleeves and upper body. So far, so good.

This plant started growing in a pot where something else had died. I just kept watering it, and it just kept growing—a fast grower—and now here we are. ItGardener (All For Gardening)

I know I'm outing myself as an absolute barbarian here, but I've never read any Proust so when an author or real life human describes something as Proustian, I get a touch of FOMO.
The question for you wonderful people is, is it worth reading a little* Proust so that I can see what the fuss is all about? Or are most mentions of Proust just a pretentious "trust me I'm well read" hand wave?
Or by all means, leave an exquisitely Proustian comment instead.

Yes to this, on the grounds that:
1) When I was working bookstore in my twenties, one of my regulars was reading A la recherche, a chapter a week, and every Saturday morning came in to give me the Proust Update. Even at that distance, it was a whole journey. It was *fun*. Proust isn't a guy I'd want to deal with in real life but as long-distance literary blogging? It gets really fun.
2) There is legitimately something to Proustian as an adjective, and hey, I'm glad of the information at least personally.
I recommend Proust’s comic book adaption. You can get a boost of equally French cultural credibility (if that’s what you’re after) without the word-count investment

I know what you’re thinking – but this graphic novel of Proust is a triumph
