I mean, who would've guessed?! STUDY finds that masks worn in hospitals prevent needless infections!
"The usage of FFP2 masks reduced the incidence of viral respiratory infections from 22.1 to 2.1% (p < 0.005). This reduced the time on ward from a median of 26 days to 23.5 days (p = 0.002)."
It remains impossible for me to understand why healthcare facilities refuse to wear masks and protect patients. #COVID19

There is a striking resemblance between the Russian propaganda technique the “Firehose of Falsehood”, and the way Trump’s lieutenants are now performing a coordinated flooding of all channels with the fake story that “millions and millions” of immigrants are comming to eat your pets.
Trump’s voters could be hearing that the debate did not go well for Trump, but instead they are bombarded with the idea, that if you don’t vote for Trump, your dog will die.
I wonder who coordinates all this.

The thing that is so frustrating about anti-vaxxers is that there are hundreds and hundreds of studies that find #COVID19 vaccines confer benefits. Often, these findings aren't even the point of the research. Here's an example of one finding among many about COVID patients needing emergency department services: “SARS-CoV-2 vaccination was associated with reduced ED returns and mortality.”

Creative ways communities are reducing food waste
While lots of powerful changes to reduce food waste can start at home, sometimes the scale of the problem benefits from a community-wide approach.

$30 million to compensate 6.9 million impacted users.
But not really, because the plaintiffs' attorneys are going to be paid out of that fund. They usually get around 30%, so that reduces the amount available to compensate users to $21 million.
There are other expenses that will be paid out of the fund, but they're probably in the noise compared to attorneys' fees.
So we're talking ~$3 per person.
Is that reasonable compensation for their DNA data being compromised? Nope.
