I enjoyed watching Kathy in quite a few roles, and for years didn't even know her name. She could portray so many types of characters — pure joy.

Aarhus Harbour, the community promenade. In front of us, the Endless Connection fountain by artist Jeppe Hein. A large fountain with huge swirling spirals embedded in the flat open ground. Water jets three metres high shoot up from different spirals at different intervals, then ultimately all at once. The sky is half overcast, half sunny. The city’s spires and turrets rise behind the fountain. Half the jets of water are shooting up, sparkling in the sun. In the open half where the ground is soaked but the water jets are off for a second, two young people are dancing while waiting for the water to shoot up again. Around them, people and bikes – people are walking, resting, taking photos as they go about their business. They have free reign here – cars may no longer drive or park here.
Photo from the Gamle By and Aarhus Stadsarkiv archive, photographer unknown. Probably from the 60s or 70s. A black-and-white photo of the harbour front and coast road when it was a car park – just cars lined up in it. I can't find a later public photo that shows what it was like in the 80s and 90s - so bad, just an absolute sea of parked cars and bottlenecks on all the roads around it as people tried to drive in and out of mid-city.

Big tech has made some big claims about greenhouse gas emissions in recent years.
But as the rise of artificial intelligence creates ever bigger energy demands,
🔸it’s getting hard for the industry to hide the true costs of the data centers powering the tech revolution.
According to a Guardian analysis, from 2020 to 2022 the real emissions from the “in-house” or company-owned data centers of Google, Microsoft, Meta and Apple are likely about 662%
– or 7.62 times
