โI donโt relish trying to convince anyone of anything. ๐
But looking at all the possible ways forward with the above standards, there is really only one complete solution that is ready to go today, and that has been implemented for years across multiple blogging platforms: Micropub + Microsub.โ
Argh. I *hate* this thing.

A reminder to Canadians that Indigo/Chapters bookstore CEO Heather Reisman operates a fund that pays foreigners to settle in Israel after service in the genocidal IDF.
There are much better places to buy books than a corporation that funds genocide.

Really? Why did it happen to you? Did you figure out how it worked and how to deal with it?
It's almost like there's a little gnome sitting on my brain saying, "no, we are not worthy. I cannot face them." Or just "Too much going on in the brain pan. Apply more youtube shorts nonsense and leave me alone."

Oh man, email is almost a lost cause for me. I struggle with just text messages. Particularly video messages.
Dang, it didn't use to be like this. :/

I don't have a lot of behavioral markers for autism, but I do have a couple.
AuDHD is a thing. (Because just one or the other would be too straightforward? ๐)

I hadn't thought of it in terms of executive dysfunction, but that makes sense.
There's a whole social dysfunction aspect of ADHD that doesn't get talked about much.

in reply to R. L. Dane • • •executive function. The decision to do something is represented by a particular neurotransmitter in your brain, and the ADHD patient is not as sensitive to this neurotransmitter as a baseline person. Your decision โstamina barโ is smaller than other people, and while youโve been living with adhd your whole life, your brain has learned that in difficult times, you cannot afford to spend decisions on things that are not critically important.
Your brain and the rest of your body is trying to take care of you and make sure that you have โthe juiceโ when you need it.

"Dear self,
As I know you get dreadfully overwhelmed at times, and since I love thee so, I have decided to shut down all decision making for the rest of the day so that you won't work on any impending deadlines so that you won't get overwh--- oh shazbat, I've gone and done it again."
