I heard! This may in the end simplify operations. OpenTelemetry can be scraped directly by Prometheus, so we may not need the statsd exporter / rewriter in the future.

That is what we hearing! I don't mind though, if we (finally) get our bike path connection completed. This bike path will be so useful to @Kathryn Barr and me, as we will be able bike almost everywhere from here and without being on roads at all. I may just do a video when it is all complete.

Of note is that this morning Kamala Harris climbed into net positive favorability, which is a strong predictor of electoral success. Great point. This is consistent with the "virtuous cycle" narrative. When people see her winning they climb on board. And when he is losing he gets more desperate, becomes even crazier, and turns more people off. Joy triumphs over hate and rage.
