We have many irises of different colors growing in the garden on the south side of the garage.

My grandmother loved irises, which she called "flags," and so whenever I see one I always think of her.

#Meta is making users who opted out of #AI #training opt out again, #watchdog says

According to Noyb, Meta is also requiring users who already opted out of #AItraining in 2024 to opt out again or forever lose their opportunity to keep their data out of Meta's models, as training data likely cannot be easily deleted. That's a seeming violation of the General Data Protection Regulation ( #GDPR ), Noyb alleged.

In the US, speaking up for Palestine can cost a person their job, visa and even freedom.

A coalition of Jewish groups warns that the Trump administration is making Jews less safe by targeting international students who protested Israel's war in Gaza and the universities where they study.

Is free speech really “free” for everyone, or is the Palestine issue an exception?

My friend Momodou has been trying to rebuild his families house in The Gambia now for a few years now. This is probably the first ever house funded thru the #fediverse! If you have any money to spare let's help the Barry family have a home again! Every donation helps @Sbarry8520 so much, he really appreciates it!

Every year we work on the land to rebuild our family house which we lose through the storm.

This year we really encountered a lot of situations and difficulties especially for the last pass two months this why I didn’t get any chance to done any progress on the house.

Yesterday I started clearing the grass but I end up injured myself on the finger with the cutlass. Hopefully this week I might be done with the clearing the grass.

Here’s some pictures as follows on the thread.

This proposal is a tax on American TV viewers, forcing them to buy new, DRM-laden TVs to continue accessing a public resource. eff.org/deeplinks/2025/05/fcc-…

Oh hohohohohohoho, this sucks! This absolutely sucks!

Holy shit, DRM-encrypted television that can't be accessed unless you buy a compatible TV with decryption keys. This idea should've been carpet bombed Day 0.

Got the ventral saucer, pylon and nacelle decals applied to #Reliant last night. One of the red stripes curled and fell apart so I removed it and the one opposite (I’ll print out replacements when the new toner arrives). Today I’ll apply the dorsal decals. #StarTrek #StarTrekModels #SciFiModels #MirandaClass #Starfleet #FederationStarship #ShipsOfStarTrek #ScaleModels #MKMModelwerx

Are announcement-esque notable changes changelogs written for test releases like these?

I know how to read the full changelog but I don't have the time to do so, but I'd still like to know the non-minor changes
