I don't know what my #Linux computer is doing the past 24 hours.... my terminal's text keeps slowly shrinking. Every so often, I ctrl + scroll to bring it back, and it slowly shrinks till I can't read it again.
I haven't gone troubleshooting yet, I'm in the middle of stuff... just sharing this very very strange problem.
After borking my Ubuntu installation trying to upgrade, I simply cannot imagine being one of these distro hopper types. While it was mildly annoying to have to reinstall WiFi drivers and some software, I wouldn’t want to do it very frequently.
I still don’t quite know what happened, but it’s at least operational again from a fresh install.
I liked the sentiment expressed in this one, more so than “we’re not going back”. Will look damn nice on the liftgate opposite my old Matthew Dowd “Country over Party” flag sticker from 2016.
They’re produced by a local print shop here in Dallas, that I think isn’t otherwise directly associated with the campaign.
Amazon link in the next post if you’re interested in picking up a few for yourself.
The question is whether they are safer than sugar. We accept all the dangers associated with sugar because...
In some of these many articles about the horrors of sugar substitutes they finish up with a quick paragraph pointing out the many ways sugar is bad for you. At least some attempt at balanced reporting but fear sells articles like this.

About that silly hit-piece from the WaPo "Kamala Harris ran her office like a prosecutor. Not everyone liked that."
Let's take a look at the snippet below. Who thinks it is poor leadership on the part of a VP or a boss to read your prepared material, to ask questions, to engage and discuss instead of blindly accept, to not accept frivolous praise?
These are the exact qualities real leaders have and which they instill in others.

“An update on what to expect from actual science is overdue. I often worry that when the public holds science to unrealistic standards, any scientific claim failing to live up to them arouses suspicion.”
Here’s your reminder that science is a fallible process where disagreement is a necessary feature:
