ICE is Training Civilians to Conduct Violent Raids on Immigrants

"New details about a program from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are getting attention after the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) published a trove of internal documents about ICE’s ‘Citizens Academy’ programs.

The academy trains civilians to operate multiple firearms, use lethal force, perform surveillance on immigrants, and conduct raids while also acting as a public relations initiative to try and sway public opinion about ICE, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the HSI unit of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). I bathed this walking furball today. The water changed from clear to black in an instant. Went astonishing smooth though and oddly enough it's not leaving my side now. This is the cat that hates touching and usually stays clear of everyone oO

YouTube keeps recommending me clips of him on talk shows promoting this, so I thought I might as well watch --

#1916, or #424, 2024 comedy special "James Acaster: Hecklers Welcome."

Perfectly solid hour and change of comedy. Doesn't devolve as much into the heckling as you might think it would, but when it does happen, it only serves to make the special better.

US asked Lebanon to declare unilateral ceasefire with Israel, sources say

BEIRUT, Nov 1 (Reuters) - The U.S. asked Lebanon to declare a unilateral ceasefire with Israel to revive stalled talks to end hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, a senior Lebanese political source and a senior diplomat said - a claim denied by Lebanon's prime minister.

But a unilateral declaration was seen as a non-starter in Lebanon, the sources said, where it would likely be equated with a surrender.

Hochstein told them that if Hezbollah unilaterally declared a ceasefire, he "could have something to present" to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a diplomatic initiative.
