she thinks it should be like GA, where the party of the GA governor determines the order of the candidates. I wish I were kidding.

My team-leader forwarded me that one a while back, me being the Linux Guy on the team at the time.

Rough day for poor Sylvester, he hates being in a crate, hates travelling in the crate, hates the vet and especially hated his blood test. Emergency bloods, full check over revealed he has and infection, a skin condition from over grooming and a heart murmur. So he has been prescribed antibiotics and a steroid spray. They want to keep an eye on the murmur as they think it’s an age thing, so relieved that he is okay but almost cried paying the bill more than two weeks money disappeared.
Lots of TLC and fuss for our old dude can’t imagine life without him Emily was only a baby when we got him.

Loony as this is, these are at least quickly dismissible civil suits. Trump’s supporters have been baying for criminal charges against journalists on this dumb argument that unflattering coverage is an “in-kind campaign contribution.” It’s preposterous. But with MAGA judges, who knows.

🇺🇸 US: Americans outraged as hospitals bring back COVID-era mask mandates for visitors and patients.

"One hospital system in Monterey, California, which treats nearly 400,000 patients a year, this week reinstated its face mask mandate for visitors and patients."

"Meanwhile several counties in San Francisco's Bay Area have also brought back mask rules in healthcare facilities ahead of flu season."

"And this week, New York City's health department again began recommending people mask-up while using public transport as the nation heads into winter."

It's world #vegan day, and I'm tearing up watching this beautiful animated short video, based on the true story of Matilda and her babies escaping certain death: matildaandthebraveescape.com

Eating animals is a choice.
Why not choose to be kind? 💚

What's the average work day for a paintings conservator? Though no two days are alike, usually it's a mix of research, collection care, treatment, analysis...and emails.

Today is #AskaConservator Day. What other questions do you have for Kari?

in reply to Roy -- the dull one

@oldclumsy_nowmad The appropriate temperature for a museum collection storage area is generally between 16°C and 20°C (60°F to 68°F)

Thank you! For answering my questions, and (more so) for the Global Museum site, which is fun and very informative.
