Sur Facebook, je vois bien des personnes qui se questionnent sur le fediverse (Mastodon en particulier), je fais au mieux pour aider.
Et, surprise (non), Facebook n'est pas content.

A UK 'MOONSHOT'

This year marks the 130th anniversary of the founding of the UK’s national preservation society, called the National Trust, and to mark the occasion they’re setting a goal which they make no bones about calling a “moonshot.”

What I love about photography is finding unique, different places that change with the light. I discovered this isolated tree during a trip to Scotland, not far from the Glencoe Valley on my way to the Isle of Skye.

How I took this picture ? Canon R3 + 70/200 mm f2,8 at 135 mm 1/400e f2,8 Iso 100

Canon R3 + 70/200 mm f2,8 at 135 mm 1/400e f2,8 Iso 100

Hi #music #midi and #MusicProduction folks. I have been gifted a USB midi keyboard. It's quite old but has full size keys. Question is - is there a #FOSS or otherwise free software I can install to get it to make a noise?

Me and my girls would like to learn to play but not sure where to start. 😊

In 2020 I started to build Dioramas. I started 4 of them and to this day haven't finished a single one.
BUT, about a week ago I decided to give up on this hobby and somehow that helped with hitting the finish line with the newest diorama, a book nook. The plan is to add cotton wool to cover the LEDs, to create a cloudy landscape and put a glass panel in front.
(The house has light too).

An entire article on why people aren't going to restaurants without a single mention of the world "covid".

We can well afford to go to restaurants but we're not aware of any that it would be safe to go to.

in reply to Tim Ward ⭐🇪🇺🔶 #FBPE

Agreed. We have completely abandoned our pre-Covid luxury of eating out once a week. We don’t even order in meals either. The beneficiaries are the supermarket deliveries, since we now don’t shop in store for groceries either.

"Nobody attacked Russia, nobody threatened it. It was putin's regime that attacked Ukraine - solely because of the megalomania of its leaders, because of the inhuman thirst for power over everything around it."

- These are the words of the russian historian and dissident Alexander Skobov, who is currently on trial in putin's russia.

Alexander fought against the Soviet Union during Soviet times and continues to fight against putinism today.

Hmm, U.S. under 45 may attack Greenland, Canada and Panama, to fulfill 45's fetish for money and power?

#Doomscrolling is in large part caused by #gloom #activism and reinforced by #echochamber reverberation. It works to stifle the activist's audience, so prudent gloom activists carefully tailor their message to reach unaware audiences in hopes to replace ignorance with #awareness and incentives to become energized and active too.

A good #activist brings #audience, #active, and #action together as a spearhead for #change. Well-prepared #solutions give momentum.

in reply to small circle 🕊 in calmness

@small circle 🕊 in calmness The challenge is human nature itself. Today it is social media and videos and online gaming. Before that it was TV over the airwaves and console games. Before that it was sex and drinking and smoking. People are pretty good at finding things to do that are enjoyable. And it can become addicting because we are literally programmed to repeat things that are pleasurable, and refrain from repeating things that are painful.
in reply to Scott M. Stolz

@scott exactly. This is the holistic scope for studying hedonic commons-based peer production, nature, natural laws and humanity. In hopes to learn and apply some mimicry in our tech such that we one day may become masters of nature ourselves (we are still noobs) and realize that nature has no masters :D
