Notion's help is so bad I had no choice just then but to use the built-in AI to add a field to a page.
We're all fucked.
Would you rather:
a) Use a service that themed and tied a bunch of FOSS projects into one cohesive package
b) Use a service that uses pre-existing standards (ie ActivityPub, Matrix, etc) but has an all-new UI
c) Use a service that is open-source but uses very few existing standards and is it's own thing

Any privacy respecting alternatives to google WiFi?
Hi all, in the slow process of degoogling one of the key points for me would be to remove the pucks I have been using for a few years for the WiFi mesh network at home. I know of a few alternatives but not a single one that respects my privacy (not gonna get rid of google just to switch to amazon), that allows me control of the network locally without accessing some backend of some company or anything. I don't quite need access from outside the network if that makes it easier to find some option.
Any ideas? I'm also slowly building the blocks needed at home for self hosting a bunch of stuff, and those would need to have access to the outside network of course. Maybe that needs to be considered too?

Also, it sounds like it’s free and too good to be true. What’s the catch? Mandatory tracking, data mining and sales, forced advertising, or a freemium tier to do anything useful? If so, are there any platforms that are more privacy-respecting? (FOSS preferred.)

upsc fails with "Connection refused," and when I check the status of nut-server, it has also failed with "getaddrinfo: Name or service not known"

EDIT: Never mind. I just plugged it directly into my Home Assistant host and ran the NUT integration. Works like a champ.
