Nachdem die #SeaPunks vergeblich versucht hatten die Behörden zu erreichen, machte sich die #SeaPunk1 auf den Weg Richtung #Lampedusa. Während der Fahrt wurde ihr die Insel als POS von ital. Behörden zugewiesen.
Aufgrund der angespannten Lage mit so vielen Menschen an Bord musste SEA PUNK I sehr langsam fahren, um niemanden zu gefährden.
Alle 143 Menschen wurden dann noch vor Erreichen von Lampedusa von der Guardia Costiera abgeholt und an Land gebracht.
