Using local materials artist Roldolfo Liprandi's sculptures, which are made from trimmed branches, of animals and imaginary creatures such as dragons and elves, dwell in forest lands and then return to them.

Homage to Shipbuilding in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. Installed in 2005, it was designed by Jimmy Cosgrove and constructed by Hector McGarva. It shows a shipyard worker on one side and his dog on the other. Only part of the inscription can be seen from this angle, but in whole it reads: Celebrate those who made the Clyde great.

Last one of Omega S 380649. I'd shot this set shortly before heading out to a solo show in SF. My computer crashed and I had no backups. I recently recovered the computer and contents. I grabbed a backside shot, not one of those glamour things, but important to me and the piece.
This piece is part of my overall narrative. All the work has short scifi stories and they can all be found here: retech.org . Not trying to sell anything, just a free bunch of science fiction art and story that I hope people doubleplus enjoy.

T1M1 took over a week to dig out. One of the field missions led two techs deep under the ruins of Central City near the Arches. A power signature was detected and followed, first down a series of transport tunnels and then deeper. The techs camped in plus harsh conditions inside the tunnels as the dug deeper following the signal. Eventually they discovered a nearly intact gen room, well maintained by T1M1.

A mobile Foetal Unit. They were used for data collection. Foetuses were easier on resources than chips. Once it reached enough development, progression was stunted. Medulla oblongata and cerebellum were reflashed for unit control and mission specific parameters. They were sent in as a disposable biomech. But, nearly 100yrs out, and the Institute collects enough of them still intact to prove that nature is geared towards survival.

The Omega S is still one of my favourite pieces ever. I rarely get attached to a piece. This is the only one I've ever kept. Going to be sad when I have to give it up for good. Hopefully I'll find a good home for it sooner than later.
