Been rewatching #Talespin with the spouse, having not seen it since I was a kid.
Was immediately enchanted by the furryesque retro setting, top-tier animation and voice work, the occasional really great gag too, though I found the somewhat simplistic writing a bit jarring, without the all-ages sophistication of more modern cartoons (#AdventureTime etc).
Gotta say though, I really started to look forward to the regular lunchtime cartoon date with the spouse, and I’m sad we’re nearly through the 60-ep run already!
