Good morning lovely people.
I slept so well. The child has not slept. Now my morning routine is feed cats while the kettle boils. Was in the process of feeding the cats when the child comes through to talk about global events that happened when I was sleeping. In my best parenting ways, my response was "Dude, piss off, I've not had coffee and its too early for this", so obviously he sat and spoke to me for 45 minutes.....I've still not finished the coffee and already need more! The long eared owl in the picture is a visual representation of me, a started ball of fluff and rage, it is a young owl and he was screeching like mad yesterday, very cute.

It's solstice weekend in June and that means I'm missing all my friends from the Antietam early #banjo gathering (hi @redbanjer !), which met for the last time an impossible ten years ago this weekend.
