@iFixit Hello.
Please take a look at the @shiftphones SHIFTphone 8.1 (shift.eco/en/shiftphone-8/).
You should find it similar to the Fairphone 6, except at least nominally better in at least some aspects.
The only negative compared to Fairphone is that SHIFT are very bad a customer communications as they fir large parts of it (e.g. their webshop) refuse using any other language than German, so no English unless one specifically e-mails them in English.
The actual device, with repairability modularity, own instruction videos (in German), higher IP rating and apparently ability to run on charger directly without battery even, should probably rate very highly for your repairability score.
It is in main production for version 8.1 already (revision 1) but I have put myself at the back of the preorders queue for solidarity with those in more urgent need, so I don't have mine yet and therefore everything I wrote is based on hearsay and 1st party claims.
The new SHIFTphone 8 - modular design, maximum impact!
Modular and sustainably built, the SHIFTphone 8 is ready for any adventure. Repair instead of throwing away!SHIFT GmbH

“What do you think, guys? Who should we go with?”
“I really liked the, ‘I’m hungry for success,’ guy.”
“Yeah but isn’t that the same thing as the guy who was passionate about not starving?”
“No. Totally different. The second one stinks of desperation.“

in reply to Dennis Flood • • •@fideldonson Yes, I have compared a lot of devices and as far as I am aware of, the only two who almost fulfill my criteria are SHIFTphone and Fairphone. The only criteria missed by them both (in this generation) is the IP rating being too low, as I had defined my minimum level there to be IP67 (based on that the Samsung Galaxy S5 which was openable with user-replaceable battery did IP67) while Fairphone's latest only does IP55 and SHIFT's IP66.
For environmentalism through durability, the IP rating is of course crucial.
Buuut apart from that shared snag, they both focus on modularity for user-repairability, less devastating resources sourcing, more privacy, more software user-control, etc.
My current phone is running out of security patches this autumn IIRC, so I must shift this year anyway.

The only others I have been considering is the foldables genre, but that is for my visual impairment, while discarding all previously mentioned criteria in exchange... an 8-inch screen would certainly be helpful, but then I hate everything else about all of those (weellll, Samsung's Fold7 is rumored to be IP68, so that's amazing if true but on the other hand I vomit on Samsung's "AI"- and other bloatware-garbage avalanche).
