Finally saw Superman and it was amazing. Lex Luthor was an amazing villain and his envy & hatred of Superman was perfectly portrayed. A nice surprise was the relationship between Lois & Superman which was incredibly well done.

Great action and great comedy as we’ve come to expect from James Gunn. Using the classic musical score was also a nice touch.

Yeah, I agree.

Nicholas Hoult did a great job portraying Luthor. He nailed that "billionaire incel techbro" archetype.

Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific was a fun supporting hero. I wasn't familiar with that hero before the movie, so I wasn't sure what his deal was at first, but he proved to be a fun character by the end.

And David Corenswet made a solid Superman. Big shoes to fill there, but he pulled it off. And Rachel Brosnahan was a strong Lois Lane.

Good cast overall.

agreed. Casting was so well done (only exemption was ma Kent - I grew up in Kansas and that was nothing like it. Maybe Arkansas). And every single time I hear the Williams score I get goosebumps. A few years ago I got to go to Williams concert at Hollywood Bowl - best experience ever.

The image is a screenshot from a video game, showing a landscape with a blurred view of a coastline or a hilly area in the background. The foreground is indistinct, with a muted color palette dominated by shades of gray and green, suggesting a foggy or misty environment. On the left side of the image, there is text that reads "CFU Load," indicating a loading screen or a paused state. On the right side, there are two buttons: one labeled "reset" in red, and another with the text "5 I Paid For The Whole CFU." The overall image is horizontally oriented, with a narrow aspect ratio, typical of video game interfaces.

Original Fender amps went to 12.

ETA: The modern tweed amp reproductions still do.

👀 On our radar: Fly with a whooping crane family

“The whooping crane (Grus americana), the tallest bird in North America, has existed near the brink of extinction for decades, with its wild migratory population having dwindled to a single flock of 15 birds in the 1940s. However, following years of dedicated conservation work targeting illegal hunting and habitat loss, the wild population has grown to more than 500 birds.”
