You’ve probably heard that general relativity is a “deterministic theory.” Technically speaking, this is false.

hello dear #berlin fediversians. @paupowpow and me will be travelling for ten days in august and we're looking for someone to take care of compost.party during that time. we'd meet next week, give you the server, solar panel and a gentle introduction. your responsibilities would be

- to provide a dry and sunny spot for the phone & panel
- to unplug the usb cable each morning and put it back in

🌱 📱 🌱

does that sound fun to you? write us a message (here on the fediverse or via mail to yeah@compost.party). we're restricting this to berlin (and surrounding areas) at the moment because we need to figure this out by next wednesday.

OMG love this idea (also very not in Berlin, sorry), can i ask why you need to unplug and replug the USB every morning?

@subaquapupper we hit a bug in the charging driver! it doesn't start charging again once voltage drops below a certain level for a significant amount of time. we already met and talked to one of the people who wrote the driver, but never got around to fixing it. @paupowpow
