Also, pfft. Libraries discard (tens or hundreds of) thousands of old books every year, and crafts like these are an excellent use of those books instead of tossing them straight to recycling/trash. There ARE unwanted books that will not be read by anyone anymore, for various reasons, and it is a kindness and ecological to re-use them in this way.

#SCOTUS on Friday allowed the Trump admin to strip #legal protections from >300k Venezuelan immigrants.
The *justices* issued an emergency order, which will last as long as the court case continues, putting on hold a lower-court ruling by US District Judge Edward Chen in San Francisco that found the admin had wrongly ended #TPS for the Venezuelans.

I used to commute from Uptown to my job at Cottonwood Mall via the Montano Bridge. On the 157 Louisiana/Montano bus. Always a clusterfuck at rush hour.
(I've been pestered for years by bus drivers to do an Albuquerque Behaves Badly on drivers at Montano & Coors,not far from the bridge. Someday I'll do it.)
