"Data centers tend to bring rising power bills, horrible noise, and dwindling drinking water to every community they touch. “The fact that U of M is using Ypsilanti as a dumping ground, a sacrifice zone, is unacceptable,” Fellows said."

Second time in three days someone boosted left-wing misinformation / disinformation into my feed.
Come ON, people. Please be better than this. Don't boost stuff you haven't verified.

Media standards: 1) No Democratic scandal on par with Trump-Epstein, so it’d be biased and unfair to five it much attention. 2) Trump wouldn’t be shamed into resigning and his cult of personality wouldn’t abandon him, so Trump-Epstein wasn’t worth pursuing. Way too many think that’s journalism.

A drone view of Moshaler Char island, gradually vanishing into the Brahmaputra River. Scientists say what is happening in Kurigram is climate change made visible, as the melting of the Himalayan glaciers that feed the Brahmaputra and Teesta rivers accelerates. "We are seeing rapid glacial melt, almost double the rate of the 1990s. Extra water is flowing downstream, adding to already swollen rivers. REUTERS/Sam Jahan

Christine Pelosi issued that weird cryptic warning a few years back that "some of our faves" might be on the Epstein list & if one of those "faves" turns out to be Larry Summers it'll be hilarious because A) he sucks and who gives a shit and B) the only people Larry Summers is a "fave" of are dicks.
in reply to Grimm

The Fash Cope Brigade are just praying to their petulant violent god that Clinton is on the list so it can deflect the sunlight somewhat back upon "tHE LEft!" and we're all 99.9% "haha who gives a lonely shit, burn the fucking lot."
in reply to Grimm

I mean, just parsing candidates and her choice of words, Clinton most definitely seems to fit what someone like Christine Pelosi would call a "fave" but I don't think people in her circle experienced any sufficient number of normal-people problems in the last 25 years to get that most people don't care. And THEN he fucking endorsed Cuomo.

Bill Clinton endorsed Cuomo.

Like imagine how utterly fucking lost in the facile cascading mist of Team Sport Politics you'd have to be to think any rational morally-ruddered human being would give a fuck if Bill Clinton went down because he was a gross felonious assbag. Like we already know two-thirds of that.
