Salmon back at it even after the ginormous flood subsided here near the Raging River (off the Snoqualmie River). The river and stream were crazy balls. Like super insane—I saw multiple large trees on their sides in the river today. These fish are world-class endurance athletes and face so many dangers from loss of habitat to predators to floods. In April 2020 we were walking in Central Park and passed David Duchovny going the other way. My wife was walking in front, saw him first and recognized him. Just a few weeks ago, I was at a Trek Convention where Christina Chong (La'an from SNW) was one of the guests. We chatted briefly at her table, and she was totally smitten with my 1 year old daughter.

I had a very short night/sleep. According to my watch, I didn't even get 5½ hours. But my dreams were bad, and my body was so painful... 😢 I had to get up and start moving again. The scale was a little less kind to me. I'm really struggling with my food and snacks, my eating disorder wants to comfort me when I feel bad... Unfortunately, while the snacking does give me some "happy feels", seeing my numbers on the scale quickly diminishes that... I got dressed and got ready to head to the gym.
Skoosh and I arrived safe and sound. I enjoyed my protein shake while I checked all the social media bits. Then, I rode the bike for 25 minutes, followed by 23 minutes on the treadmill. I managed to do two arm exercises as well. Then, I enjoyed the massage chair before I headed home.

I washed up, dressed, and got to the couch. I got to the couch and wrote my blog post. Then I wrote the journal toots, as I was behind with them... I worked on my journal Toot. After some brekky, I got to my puzzle and worked some more on that. I managed to get most of the aurora/sky area done. I read a little bit until it was time to her ready to head to Germany.
This morning, I was going to Kleve on my own, getting things for both mum and myself. While I was driving to Kleve, bestie called me and we had a nice chat until I was almost at the first store. As I was alone, and all stores I needed were open from 7am, I had left the house around 6:30. It was a true delight to be this early. Before I knew it, Skoosh and I were zooming towards Nijmegen.
I cleaned away my parent's groceries, and then I took Sir Little Noise™ with me. Although, I do think he needs a new nickname, but more on that later. 😉 Together, we headed to Herpen. I cleaned up my own groceries, and then walked with Bas. When we got back, we got to the couch and enjoyed some relaxing and a nice snack.
After a little while, Bas wanted to head out again. So we went for another walk together. When we got back, I made some chicken nuggets. Well I was really glad that Bas was there with me, as I don't think I could have eaten then all by myself. 😂
We relaxed a little more, where I tried to read some more of the latest Dan Brown book. When the neighbor texted me, we got ready, as we were going to check if the boys would be OK to walk together. They can both be a little difficult at times. But... It all went rather well. 😊
When we got back, I for everything ready to head to bed. I fell asleep rather easily. I woke up once for the loo, and went back to bed. Bas cuddled up again, and I fell asleep again. When I woke up again, I had slept about 6¼ hours. Still not a lot, but better than the previous night.
I got to the scale, ugh.... 😔 And then I dressed and got ready to start the new "day". Which would not go as I had hoped for... 🤔
