Listen, the only way that we're going to effect change is to make things very very uncomfortable for our representatives in Congress and the Senate.
I say this, because they just voted to fund fascism. Clearly they have not heard us. We are apparently too docile for them to take notice.
They are going to continue to support this regime until they are made to stop. Just like any other bully where there's a power differential.
You do not beat a bully by leaving your lunch money at home. Sure, you keep your money, but you still get beat up.
And if we're going to get beat up anyway, I think we need to turn up the heat. A lot. It needs to be uncomfortable for more people than just the citizens.
I do not know how to motivate my fellow Americans, if what we're seeing in the news is not sufficient motivation for them.

Now it's all like, oh, there's a protest and threat of general strike so Facebook are suppressing posts from the area and Twitter and demoting anything mentioning the hashtag.
We really should have never let the corporations control the selection algorithms. Not only do they distort it for money from advertisers, they suppress messages that conflict with their billionaire capitalist owner's interests in any way at all.
We must decententralize and decorporatize the internet. Its our only hope.
