Seen the aerial footage and wondering what it was like on the ground in Minneapolis today? It was -9 degrees F (-31 with windchill) and still 50,000 of us were out protesting peacefully. (Note: video contains profanity)

In a world of fast-paced data, I’ve realized that true System Design isn't about the volume of the noise, but the quality of the connection.

Grateful for the "1 in 10" friends who take the time to lovingly share, comment, and help spread this message of Power over Force.

To those who anchor my work by engaging with my posts: your support is the vitality that keeps this Nervous System humming. You remind me that when we move with integrity, we don't just add, we multiply!

Choosing to invest energy in resonant connections is an act of Self-Respect.

While much of the digital world operates on extractive Force, we are building a space rooted in Power and presence. Your engagement is the signal that helps this architecture grow.

1+1=11. Thank you for being part of the Math of Love.

An illustration depicts an orange tabby cat with green eyes and a small golden crown, sitting on a light beige armchair. The cat has a white chest and white-tipped tail, with paws resting on the chair’s armrest. A speech bubble above the cat states "PURR-FECTLY CONTENT!" in black text with a pink heart. Surrounding the cat are light blue and yellow geometric shapes (diamonds, circles, lines). In the background, there is a wooden bookshelf filled with books, a window showing a cityscape at night, and a circular rug under the chair. At the bottom of the image, the text reads "SOVEREIGN CONNECTION. The Math of Love (1+1=11) Thank you for being in my System. 🐾 Crissy".

Hey Mastodon: how do I tap into the community here? What are the rules for hashtags? Any social standards I should be aware of that differ from other social media sites? Also, fuck ICE.

When posting threads, you can avoid spamming the public TLs by making only the first post Public and the rest Quiet Public. If you're reviving an older thread, it's fine and even good to make the new reply Public for extra visibility.

When mentioning someone to talk to them and it's not a reply to a post of theirs, it's usually a good idea to make the post Quiet Public, unless you have a specific reason you want the post to appear on the public TLs.

If in doubt whether to CW or not, err towards CW. CWs give people a chance to prepare themselves for a topic and interact with it in a more level-headed manner.

It's good to tag common squicks, triggers, phobias, and controversial topics, so people can filter them. Flashing images, spiders, insects, eye contact, food, alcohol, violence, and politics are some of the subjects people usually warn about.

Whatever else you take from this, the point @acollierastro makes here at ~19 minutes is essential. If you don't practice it, you can't do it:

Back when I did a *ton* of interviewing at Google, folks sometimes asked what they should do before going for interviews; my answer (for working programmers) was "take a couple of weeks, or a month of weekends, and just write complete programs, end to end, that do something."

Complete programs. End-to-end. That do something.

Yeah...I should watch the whole video before boosting but..."I don't wanna roast him, but also, I could not roast him more than he has roasted himself."

TikTok reveals AI has destroyed modern society, says Haylo Hayley. This is another video you shouldn't feel obligated to watch. It is kind of mesmerizing the sheer quantity of AI clips she managed to harvest from TikTok, though, a whole bunch where people that don't exist say the same thing or almost the same thing over and over. The prank of the AI-generated memory photo for the elderly woman with dementia is pretty jaw-dropping (in a terrible way). We live in crazy times.

A digital illustration of an anthropomorphic character with animal features set against a yellow square background. The character wears a green helmet with a star, silver goggles, a red bandana covering the lower face, a green camouflage jacket with patches, a black bikini top, a dog tag necklace, and a belt with circular elements. One hand points with a green-painted fingernail while the other rests on the hip. Vertical text on the left side reads "pockettookie / furaffinity".
