I'm not the hugest fan of GoFundMe, but I do recognize it has a place for some people/orgs.

You're welcome!

Also - for the first time ever, GFM just sent me a notice that someone else sponsored you based on my link. All my years on Those Other Places and boosting stuff, I've never had that happen before!

I just wanted to share that, so you know that your Mastodon/Fediverse outreach IS effective. We all recognize it's harder to see engagement metrics here, but it does happen.

FreeBSD 15 Might Drop Its AGP Driver For Old Graphics Cards

Ah the memories of old AGP graphics cards... But it's largely just that these days: distant memories. For anyone by chance still running an Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) graphics card in production, FreeBSD is looking at deprecating its generic AGP driver and then potentially removing it in FreeBSD 15.0...

Today in Labor History September 5, 1906: Followers of the Flores Magón brothers left Douglas, Arizona and attacked the town of Agua Prieta, in the Mexican state of Sonora. The 1906 attack was part of the Magonistas’ first attempted revolution. It came in the wake of the bloody Cananea Strike, 30 miles to the southwest of Agua Prieta, where 23 workers had recently been killed. The anarchist Magonistas had been active in that strike which, along with their failed 1906 revolution, helped pave the way for the more famous Mexican Revolution of 1910-1920. Two more battles were fought in Agua Prieta in 1911 and 1912.

Wonder if Putin is sponsoring the NRA also? Weapons are a good dividing point for the U.S. along with hate of any people of difference?

@MugsysRapSheet just to support your point & lock down Trump’s failure, by mid-January 2021, aka his exit, deaths hit 400,000 and had spiraled utterly out of control to a rate of over 1000 a day. Ultimately, the us suffered 1.2 million deaths.

Today in Labor History September 5, 1936: Photographer Robert Capa captured the death of 24-year-old anarchist Federico "Taino" Borrell in the iconic photo The Falling Soldier. Borell was an antifascist fighter, killed during the Spanish Civil War. Capa is considered by many to be the greatest war photojournalist ever. He was the only civilian photographer who landed on Omaha Beach during D-Day. He co-founded Magnum Photos collective, which included David "Chim" Seymour, Maria Eisner, Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger, William Vandivert, and Rita Vandivert. He died after stepping on a landmine in Vietnam in 1954
